Affiliate Disclosure

NIYO & CO does not currently participate in any live affiliate program. This page exists to explain plainly, ahead of time, how affiliate relationships will work once they exist — rather than leaving readers to guess later.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer. If a reader clicks it and makes a purchase, the retailer may pay NIYO & CO a small commission. This does not change the price the reader pays.

What will and won’t change when affiliate links go live

• Affiliate links will be marked with a rel="sponsored" attribute, as search engines expect.
• Product recommendations will continue to be based on our editorial assessment, not commission rates.
• The “Where to Buy”-style module used on product mentions will only ever show real, currently available offers once retailer integrations exist — never fabricated prices or availability.

Current status

At launch, any “Where to Buy” or offer-comparison element on this site is a functional preview built for the data model, not a live commerce feature. No real retailer names, prices or affiliate IDs are used anywhere on the site today.
